Lara Haynes Freed
12/9/1972 - 9/11/2023
Words cannot fully capture the expanse of love felt for Lara, or the devastating grief felt by her loss. Lara was an amazing intellect and a brilliant creative force with a generous spirit, abundant heart, and beautiful laugh and smile. She was an accomplished musician, writer, and artist, a devoted partner and mother, and the sweetest of friends one could have, inspiring kindness, caring and love. Lara will be remembered and cherished for so much including the immense courage, strength, and grace she held and inspired in others.
Lara was a true artist. Only days before her death, she masterfully recorded music and vocals for her two final Shining Wire songs, Frozen Season and Artax in the Mire. A tribute release "Lara" including these two songs and a new version of End will be released. This release will also include Lara’s original and brilliant piano compositions recorded between 1999-2006 while she was in Wormwood.
